Eastern Indonesia Research Global is an independent research, insight, and evaluation institute based in Jayapura, Papua, Indonesia. We help institutions, businesses, and decision-makers turn questions into evidence and evidence into insight.

EIRG focuses on research, insight, and evaluation that can support clearer understanding and better-informed decisions. Our work may examine public opinion, social issues, markets, consumers, financial behavior, business conditions, policies, programs, and communication.
We do not define ourselves by a single research technique. Our role is to understand the question first, then apply an appropriate approach to generate credible and useful evidence.
Why Eastern Indonesia
Local realities deserve to be understood on their own terms.
Eastern Indonesia is socially, geographically, economically, and institutionally diverse. Research in this region requires sensitivity to distance, access, local context, community dynamics, and differences between locations.
Being based in Jayapura gives EIRG a direct connection to this context while maintaining a research capability that can be applied more broadly. Our geographic identity informs our perspective; it does not limit the scope of questions we can study.
